Who are we?
Mirou Education is a French academic tutoring center founded by French teacher Amir Barhoumi, who brings with him 15 years of experience in Paris, France, as well as 5 years in the Vancouver area, and educational advisor Claire Yang, a seasoned professional in the field.
We specialize in helping students achieve high scores on the DELF, IB, and AP French exams.
Our program caters to a wide range of learners, from beginners embarking on their French journey to advanced students seeking to excel in the DELF, IB and AP French exams. We believe that the key to successful French learning is regular classes with clear explanations and engaging exercises tailored to each student's level.
At Mirou Education, we offer both individual and group classes tailored to accommodate 2 to 4 students.

Founder's message
As a native French speaker, I realized that students are often confused by French grammar and conjugation. Additionally, the lack of native French educators and the significant differences with Quebec French were obstacles to good French learning.
We immediately saw results after developing a method based on mastering the pronunciation of syllables, understanding the rules of conjugation and grammar and speaking as much French as possible in class.
At Mirou Education, we are dedicated to providing high-quality French tutoring to students of all ages. Our mission is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can improve their French language skills and achieve academic success. We are committed to helping each student reach their full potential in French language proficiency.
